Project Description

Take the Master Scuba Diver challenge!

Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving. Do it by becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver – a rating that puts you in a class of distinction. This is not a course in itself, its a direct application to PADI through a Dive Centre and it means that you’ve acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments. With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you’ve reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education.

So, how does this work?

Participants can join us for a 1 month internship or for the amount of time required to complete your training, which could be as little as 1 day. It all depends on what diver qualifications and how many dives you have completed at the time of beginning the program. The price of the course varies depending on what and how many specialities you will be taking. You can decide to take the challenge at any point of your diving education, because we will tailor the course to your specific diving ability and interest in order for you to achieve this rating and to make it fun and rewarding.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

Why should you become a PADI Master Scuba Diver?

One of the best ways to become an active diver is to experience new and exciting adventures. That, in essence, is what the PADI Master Scuba Diver program is about. By taking part in the broad range of activities possible with the PADI Master Scuba Diver program, you can explore new dive sites, experience new conditions, meet other divers and even try out different types of equipment and specialty gear.

Most importantly, you can stay active, gaining confidence and earn the respect of other divers around you. Upon completion of the challenge you will have the highest non-professional PADI rating in recreational diving.

What are the requirements to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver?

You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water diver and a PADI Rescue diver. In addition, you must hold any five PADI Specialty diver ratings and have proof of 50 logged dives.

What are the incentives and benefits of becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver and continuing your education?

Not only will you receive the highest non-professional PADI rating in recreational diving but you also receive a beautiful wall certificate and you’re eligible for a mesh bag embroidered with the PADI logo. With these in hand, you also will gain experience and explore new destinations with many new friends. With the new places you explore, you gain a higher lever of experience and become a more skilled diver. In addition, you can join PADI Diving Society and earn free prizes with the Specialty of the Month program.

What if I am not yet a qualified diver?

If you are not yet a certified diver please check out our PADI Open Water Course page. You can start anytime, anywhere with eLearning and progress at your own pace. Set your goal and get started today.

Course Pre-requisites

To qualify as a Master Scuba Diver you must be a PADI Rescue Diver with 50 logged dives and 5 speciality ratings. Take a look at our PADI Speciality Course page to decide which specialities take your interest.

Note that if during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course you completed one of the dives that correspond to your chosen speciality. This can be credited towards your speciality course therefore reducing the time and and cost of the course.

For a limited period we are giving the Master Scuba Diver application fee for FREE! Please contact us and tell us your current diver level, how many dives you have completed, how much time you have to complete the challenge and what level of accommodation you require.

We will put a fantastic quotation together for you!

It doesn’t get any better than Downbelow!
They planned our entire 2 week stay in Borneo, we didn’t have to lift a finger. We saw everything you can imagine; Pygmy Elephants, Orang Utans, Proboscis Monkeys, Crocodiles, Horn bills! They know all the best local spots and really take care of you which is so important when traveling somewhere new!

Excellent Customer Service
My wife and I used Downbelow for three trips whilst in KK over CNY. From the initial email enquiring about a hike up Mount Kinabalu up until the end of our holiday, the service we received has been outstanding.
